If you don't like this election...

By Richard K. Barry

Don't make me beg.

Well, this is something. A Pew Research poll finds that 63% of the public finds the presidential race interesting, while 28% not so much.

The good news is that interest is up. Between January and June, no more than four-in-ten found the election interesting.

I gotta say, as far as excitement in politics goes, this is as good as it gets. I'd have been fine with a bit less commotion, but it is what it is. To steal from somewhere else, if you don't like this election, you don't like elections. Perhaps you should go somewhere where they don't have democratic processes and see how that works out for you.

Really, this is only about other people making decisions about your life over the next four years. How important could that be?
